Set up your store
Review app access, warehouse details, carrier connections, and checkout readiness.
Sign in to Shipping Thing, create a workspace, and select Connect Shopify. Enter your store’s myshopify.com domain, approve access in Shopify, and return to Setup.
Review access
Shopify controls the app’s store permissions. Your workspace role controls your shipping actions. Only workspace owners can connect stores. Operators can fulfill permitted orders, and viewers have read access.
If Shopify access changes, open Your workspaces and connect the store again. Refreshing the browser does not grant missing access.
Configure the warehouse
In Settings, review the sender name, company, address, contact details, timezone, and daily cutoff. Carrier requests and shipping documents use these details.
Use Shipping calendar to add warehouse closures and carrier exceptions. Reviewed public-holiday presets are optional and have finite coverage. Review the included dates before saving.
Finish the checklist
- Review the warehouse details.
- Connect a supported carrier account.
- Review and approve the store's Shopify plan.
- Synchronize orders from Shopify.
- Configure and preview checkout rates.
Checkout registration needs a public HTTPS app address and the appropriate Shopify access. Local preview does not register a public carrier service.
