Understand Shopify plan approval, booking usage, and separate carrier charges.
Installed stores use Shopify-managed app plans. Review the actual plan name, price, interval, trial, and usage terms in Shopify before approving a subscription.

App usage and postage
App booking usage and carrier postage are separate. A confirmed booking retains its original usage and cost evidence. Failed requests do not create another confirmed booking merely because recovery runs.
A cancellation or unused-label decision does not by itself prove that a carrier refunded postage. Review the carrier's actual financial record.
Review a billing period
Open Billing to review the verified Shopify cycle, applicable plan, trial usage, and recent booking ledger. Usage reporting keeps permanent event keys so recovery does not create another billing event.
If a plan or entitlement needs attention, follow the displayed Shopify approval or recovery action. An app administrator must configure actual Shopify plans before production installation is available.
